Support is available to anyone who lives in Minnesota. QUITPLAN Services was launched by the nonprofit ClearWay Minnesota℠ in 2001. To learn more about ClearWay Minnesota, visit www.clearwaymn.org.

What services are available?

  • An email program that provides a series of emails full of tips, advice and encouragement to help you create a plan to quit.
  • A Quit Guide sent through the mail that provides you with information to help you build your plan to quit.
  • If you are uninsured or have no insurance for phone counseling and/or nicotine replacement therapy (NRT), there is also the QUITPLAN Helpline. The Helpline covers all of the other services, too (see below for more information).

What services are available to Minnesotans under age 18?

  • Four weeks of free patches, gum or lozenges if you are medically approved. Talk to your coach about your options.
  • An email program that works together with the coaching calls. The emails give tips, advice and encouragement to help you develop a plan to quit.
